As a watercolour and silk painting artist, I decided to join HACG when I moved to Henley on Thames a few years ago so I could meet up with other local artists. Prior to this I had lived in Tenerife for 15 years where I discovered the joy of Painting on Silk. I am still in love with the vibrant colours you can obtain in this medium.  I paint realistic watercolours too and have recently turned my hand to alcohol inks, where there is little choice but to let the inks take control and dictate the outcome.

I will be exhibiting at HAT again this year but moving to join the Twyford group where I will be exhibiting my silk scarves and necklaces together with my Alcohol Ink Art on tiles, ceramic items, table lamps and as pendants and earrings.

In the winter months I return to Tenerife where I hold Watercolour and Silk Painting classes in my studio for local people and for those who wish to enjoy a holiday in the sun and learn to paint at the same time. Contact me for details.

Demonstrating for the HACG recently has made me realise just how much I love to share the joy of painting so I am going to concentrate on demonstrations and teaching this coming year.
